About the opportunity
The Lecturer will deliver contemporary high-quality teaching, develop innovative and evidence-based distinctive content, and be responsible for the coordination of units including quality, compliance, and assessment. The successful candidate will teach within the postgraduate Leadership Program courses and will have capacity to develop and enhance high quality learning experiences. The appointee will be required to make a significant contribution to teaching scholarship and research development in health and human service leadership. The appointee should have demonstrated current or previous connections and practical experience with health and human service leadership and management.
What you’ll do:
Make an effective and sustained contribution to the University in achieving its strategic objectives and fulfilling its operational responsibilities through the College of Health and Medicine.
Undertake contemporary scholarly teaching in postgraduate programs predominantly through online learning modalities. Coordinate units, develop distinctive strategically aligned course and unit content, and provide assessment support.
Contribute to the development of sustainable transformative professional stakeholder partnerships and collaborate across the broader College to deliver on the learning and teaching strategy.
Undertake other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
What we’re looking for:
A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field.
Experience in University-level teaching and learning.
A record of contributing to building and maintaining effective and productive links locally and nationally with the discipline, profession, industry (where relevant) and wider community.
Salary details
Appointment to this role will be at Academic Level B and will have a total remuneration package of up to $155,885 comprising base salary within the range of $114,766 to $133,235 plus 17% superannuation.
