Administration Officer - Program Delivery and Assessment
Full time ongoing position.
Based in Hobart.
Provide a wide range of administrative and support service functions.
The Opportunity
The Administration Officer - Program Delivery and Assessment will perform administrative functions supporting the School’s learning and teaching programs. They will be integrally involved in core administrative responsibilities to meet UTAS deadlines across a range of administrative support tasks which may include reception duties, assisting with timetabling and student placements, supporting examinations and assessments and providing general administrative services.
Key Accountabilities:
Develop and update timetables for timetabling systems in consultation with academic and professional staff.
Liaise with Unit Coordinators to support all functional aspects of course delivery in MyLO.
Work in a team to ensure the efficient organisation and coordination of examinations and results.
Prepare examination papers, invigilate and coordinate examinations complying with guidelines and regulations and quality assure all student results.
Assist with examination data analysis by preparing documents and reports to be used for feedback to students and academic staff.
Communicate with staff and other teams around special teaching events and activities and provide accurate advice to students and staff.
Your Application
To deliver the outcomes of this role, your application may include the following;
Relevant work related experience or a combination of relevant experience and/or education / training equivalent with an Associate Diploma level qualification.
Well-developed oral and written communication skills, draft correspondence and prepare minutes and reports.
Highly developed administrative skills and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work independently.
Competence in the use of a range of computer software applications.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work as an effective member of a team.
Ability to focus on and understand client needs.
Competence in the use of a range of computer software applications.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to cope with changing work methods and working environment.
Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 4 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $83,807 comprising base salary within the range of $67,617 to $71,630 plus 17% superannuation.
