About the opportunity
The Marketing Officer – Digital is a critical member of the Recruitment, Engagement and Marketing (REM) team within Student Services and Operations, coordinating the development of high-quality, strategically aligned digital campaigns to attract prospective students to the University.
The role supports the planning and implementation of digital marketing strategies to attract potential students through various channels. The role is primarily focused on identifying effective digital campaigns, with a focus on generating high-quality leads and applications through targeted marketing and communications.
What you’ll do:
Support the planning and execution of digital marketing strategies across various channels, including social media, search, and programmatic display advertising, to generate awareness, engagement, leads, and applications among prospective students.
Collaborate closely with other teams including Marketing Services, the Campaign team, Brand team, and agency partners on campus and remotely to ensure the effective delivery of digital campaigns.
Analyse data and report on digital campaign performance using relevant KPIs and metrics to make recommendations for improving future campaign activity.
Assist with coordinating campaign creative assets required for digital marketing campaigns.
What we’re looking for:
A diploma level qualification in marketing/communication, and experience in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of experience and expertise in digital media and marketing.
Proven ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies and manage campaigns, preferably with experience in digital marketing or in the higher education sector.
Good knowledge of digital advertising platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok, Google Ads and data analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics and Data Studio to measure campaign performance.
Demonstrated experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
Numeracy, analytical and data management skills with the ability to problem-solve.
Salary details
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 5 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $105,665 comprising base salary within the range of $80,869 to $90,312 plus 17% superannuation.
