Build and maintain productive links within the University and MS community, and with external collaborators and stakeholders locally, nationally and internationally.
Conduct high-quality research with national and international impact, secure funding, publish findings, and supervise research students to meet and exceed performance expectations.
Adhere to research conduct guidelines, ethical standards, and sponsor requirements.
Promote and develop the MS Research Flagship and Centre of Research Excellence through active consumer and community involvement.
Contribute effectively to the University’s strategic goals and operational duties.

Must be a registered medical practitioner with APHRA or eligible for registration in Australia; a PhD is highly desirable but not essential.
Demonstrated research ability in relevant fields (e.g., neurology, MS, chronic disease, epidemiology, translational medicine, public health, or general practice) with a strong or developing academic record.
Proven track record of building and maintaining productive collaborations and links within the discipline, profession, industry, government, and wider community.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Desirable research experience includes ethics and governance applications, participant recruitment, clinical, neurological and research assessments, statistical analysis, and reporting.
