About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and highly credible professional to establish and lead a newly created Case Management function. This is a recently established role following a strategic redesign of our People and Wellbeing division.
This role will play a central and strategic role in how the University manages employee matters; ensuring they are handled with consistency, fairness, and sound judgement, while supporting all parties through complex and often sensitive situations, and carefully managing legal, reputational and people risk.
As Case Management Lead, you will design and embed a mature, institution-wide employee relations case management framework, while also working hands-on across a range of sensitive and high-risk matters. You will act as a key escalation point and trusted advisor, partnering closely with Business Partners, Workplace Relations, Legal and senior leaders to navigate complex situations and achieve balanced, respectful and defensible outcomes.
This is a unique opportunity to evolve a critical organisational capability; strengthening systems, lifting leadership capability, and embedding consistent, high-quality practice that supports a safe, respectful and accountable workplace culture.
Success in this role requires someone who is not only technically exceptional, but who is motivated by this work and its impact on people. You will bring resilience, professionalism and perspective to challenging situations, and be able to engage with sensitive matters constructively, compassionately and sustainably.
