About the opportunity

The Organisational Capability Partner plays a key role in strengthening leadership and organisational capability across the University.

In this role, you’ll design and deliver development programs that help leaders and teams grow, connect and perform at their best. You’ll lead initiatives that build capability, drive cultural uplift, and support meaningful change from leadership development and professional learning to strategic projects that bring the People Strategy to life.

Working closely with colleagues across People and Wellbeing and with leaders from every part of the University, you’ll curate learning experiences that are practical, engaging and aligned to our broader goals for leadership, capability, and culture.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and deliver impactful leadership and capability development programs for diverse cohorts.
  • Partner with leaders and teams to strengthen culture and leadership capability through tailored development approaches.
  • Curate tools, resources and learning experiences that make development accessible and relevant.
  • Lead projects that uplift capability, strengthen culture and deliver on the priorities of the People Strategy.
  • Use data and feedback to evaluate learning impact and continuously improve capability outcomes.

About you:

You are an experienced organisational development or learning professional with a passion for helping people and teams reach their potential. You thrive on translating strategy into action and creating experiences that enable growth and connection.

You’ll also bring:

  • Proven experience designing and delivering leadership and capability development programs.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills that help others learn, reflect and take action.
  • The ability to collaborate and influence across different levels and functions.
  • A curious mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Experience navigating complex organisations and aligning development to strategic goals.

A background in organisational development, education, human resources, psychology or a related field will be helpful, though equivalent experience is equally valued.

Salary details

Appointment to this role will be at HEO 8 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $152,033 pro-rata comprising base salary within the range of $114,282 to $129,943 pro-rata plus 17% superannuation.
