About the opportunity

The Web Developer or Senior Web Developer will join the team at the School of Pharmacy and Pharmacology to work on a number of mission critical online education programs – most notably the Medicines Australia Continuing Education Program and the National Prescribing Curriculum. They will need to collaborate effectively with a team of web developers, academics, healthcare professionals, graphic, and instructional designers as well as relevant student and educator stakeholders to help us meet our contracted deliverables.

We create compelling, professional, and highly regarded resources with a focus on best practice and ethical conduct – join us in our mission to optimise the Australian healthcare industry.

What you’ll do:

  • Update, maintain, and create new online education content both static and interactive.
  • Consult with project leaders and relevant stakeholders to understand requirements.
  • Develop features which help us meet and exceed our contracted deliverables.
  • Maintain and revitalise legacy in-house solutions.
  • Ensure stable, reliable, and secure delivery of service.­

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of both front and back-end web technologies.
  • A high-level understanding of web technologies and programming principles and demonstrated ability to effectively learn new technologies.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute innovative Ideas and application of initiative and flexibility.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and capacity to act independently within established guidelines using discretion and sound judgement.

Salary details

Appointment to this role will be at HEO 7/ HEO 8 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $152,033 comprising base salary within the range of $101,821 to $129,943 plus 17% superannuation.
