About the opportunity

This role is situated within the Tasmanian School of Business and Economics (TSBE) and reports to the School Business Manager. The Administration Officer – Industry Impact and Engagement plays a vital role in supporting the school’s strategic and operational goals related to industry partnerships and engagement working closely with the Associate Head of Industry Impact and Engagement to ensure the seamless coordination and integration of key information including support for TSBE’s Work Integrated Learning program.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the implementation of strategic initiatives and operational plans to grow the School’s Industry Impact and Engagement.
  • Provide administrative support to the Associate Head of Industry Impact and Engagement.
  • Coordinate and improve School and Discipline-level processes, with a focus on Lean thinking and digital tools.
  • Build and manage effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance engagement.
  • Promote and support TSBE’s Work Integrated Learning and business placement activities.­

What we’re looking for:

  • Extensive administration experience in higher education, with strong attention to detail and task coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and prioritise in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
  • High-level proficiency in digital tools and software, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • A growth mindset and a track record of contributing to a positive, high-performing team culture.

Salary details

Appointment to this role will be at HEO 5 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $102,190 comprising base salary within the range of $78,210 to $87,342 plus 17% superannuation.
