About the Opportunity

The General Manager provides strategic leadership to ensure the effective delivery of integrated professional services that enable academic excellence, financial sustainability and operational efficiency across Health. The role drives the development and execution of Health’s strategy, performance frameworks, external partnerships, and ensures safe, compliant operations aligned with the University’s strategic priorities. This is a transformative leadership role that is instrumental in positioning Health as a dynamic, high-performing and strategically aligned contributor to the University’s long-term vision.

What’s Required

  • A degree and/or an equivalent combination of relevant experience in business operations, financial management, or professional service delivery within a complex organisation.
  • Proven experience in senior leadership roles within higher education, business, or government sectors.
  • Expertise in financial planning, business development, and operational management.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, risk assessment, and governance.
  • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, ensuring alignment between academic and professional functions.
