The Opportunity
Supporting the work in transforming our southern campuses, you will enable project planning and delivery by playing a lead role with project partners and people leaders to implement staff engagement and change strategies. This position works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including academic and professional staff, students and community members to ensure successful outcomes aligned with the University’s academic mission. In conjunction with the Campus Futures team and regional Pro Vice-Chancellors, you will develop and implement strong people change enabling processes to prepare and equip people for a smooth transition between buildings and campuses.
What’s Required
Working closely with the Director Campus Futures and the Relocation Project Manager you will develop, manage and maintain project schedules, budget and associated reporting for campus transformation-related projects and relocations. Managing the day-to-day tasks associated with relocating staff, students and assets in a way that supports student and staff experience and meets our sustainability objectives. Working closely with the Construction Project Manager is also required to ensure alignment between construction and relocation activities and timeframes. With Expertise in delivering high impact change programs, you will bring to the role the following expertise:
Understanding and practical experience in application of contemporary project management and/or change management models, methodologies, tools and processes.
- Strong engagement, communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with a complex range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in delivering operational improvement change projects and initiatives in complex organisations to achieve impactful organisational outcomes and sustainable change.
- Demonstrated ability to both coach and facilitate individuals and groups through change processes.
- Confident competence with the use and analysis of data and analytics to inform decision making and strategy formulation.
