About the opportunity
The Student Enquiries Officer provides frontline support to students across multiple channels, including phone, email, live chat, and in-person. This role is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and empathetic responses to a wide range of general enquiries, and for guiding students through administrative processes such as enrolment, ID cards, and system navigation. The role contributes to a positive student experience by ensuring consistency, clarity, and care in every interaction.
What you’ll do:
Deliver frontline enquiry support across multiple channels: Respond to general student enquiries across all service channels, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided in line with university policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate student records and process routine requests: Process routine updates and requests in student systems (e.g., CRM, Student Management), ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy standards.
Escalate complex issues appropriately: Identify when enquiries require specialist input or escalation and follow defined pathways to ensure resolution and continuity of service.
Support service consistency and contribute to team knowledge: Contribute to team knowledge bases and participate in regular briefings to stay informed of changes to processes, systems, and student communications.
Contribute to a positive team culture: Engage in team activities, training, and feedback sessions to support continuous improvement and uphold the values of the Student Services and Operations Division.
What we’re looking for:
Experience in a customer service or administrative support role.
Ability to follow procedures and work within established systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
Salary details
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 4 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $91,488 comprising base salary within the range of $73,814 to $78,195 plus 17% superannuation.
