About the Opportunity
As a Senior Lecturer in Paramedicine at the University of Tasmania based at our Syndey Rozelle Campus, you will be at the forefront of educational and healthcare innovation within the College of Health and Medicine. You will oversee the strategic development and maintenance of key pathways into Paramedicine. A significant aspect of this role involves extensive stakeholder engagement to create and sustain ongoing partnerships. You will work closely with industry partners and other key stakeholders to align educational pathways and short courses with current and future healthcare needs.
Your expertise will also be crucial in mentoring colleagues and enhancing the School of Paramedicine’s teaching reputation, fostering an environment of academic excellence and innovation.
What’s Required
- Significant clinical and teaching experience in paramedicine.
- Demonstrated success in curriculum development and academic leadership within a tertiary education setting.
- Engagement in research activities that inform and enhance teaching practices.
Qualifications and Licences
- A PhD or Master's qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Paramedic Registration.

Salary Details
Appointment to this role will be at Academic Level C and will have a total remuneration package of up to $178,024. comprising base salary within the range of $133,981 to $152,157 plus 17% superannuation. Relocation support available for those considering interstate relocation.
