Your New Role
We are seeking to appoint a Cyber Security Analyst, with a focus on digital research. In this newly created role, you will benefit from being mentored by all team members both within the digital research team and the cyber security team. This position is responsible for implementing cyber security initiatives across Digital Research infrastructure and services. Including the development and implementation of procedures and standards and integrating Digital Research within the wider UTAS Cyber Security Framework. You will lead the deployment of initiatives, identify and implement necessary security improvements and monitor effectiveness.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
Your ability to successfully engage with a highly focused team of specialists will lead to successful outcomes in this role. Experience with Linux ecosystems and the research landscape will be highly regarded. You will bring to the role technical expertise in system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, and application security. As an inquisitive and active learner, your demonstrated ability to acquire new skills will enable you to further progress and develop your knowledge in this role.
