Postdoctoral Fellowship – Obesity flagship (Maternal and Infant Health opportunities)

The recent formation of the College of Health and Medicine provides the optimal model to boost health and medical research performance and transform health outcomes for the Tasmanian community.

We are seeking to enhance the College’s capacity to contribute to the UTAS goal of research excellence in the flagship area of Obesity Prevention and Management through the appointment of a quality Postdoctoral Fellow. This position will support a program of work in this important area with a primary focus on maternal and infant health. 

This appointment will be 1.0 FTE fixed term for 2 years. Appointment will be at Academic Level B and will have a total remuneration package of up to $130,572 comprising a base salary within the range of $93,711 to $111,600 plus 17% superannuation.

Applicants will hold a PhD or equivalent in a field relevant to prevention and management of obesity, a strong record of research that has achieved national recognition and proven research leadership skills.
